Construction of a major biofuel plant ramps up in Varennes

Construction of the first biomethanol plant and largest green hydrogen plant in Québec is well underway on the banks of the St. Lawrence River. The silos that will house the raw materials and the buildings that will be at the heart of the business have begun to sprout on the former petrochemical refinery site now occupied by Recyclage Carbonne Varennes (RCV).
